Ford celebrates installation of 500,000th 6.7-liter Power Stroke turbo diesel V8

No Comments 27 September 2013

We devote a lot of time on this blog to discussing new Ford vehicles and celebrated new releases or venerated classics. It’s not as often that we turn to discussing things as specific as Ford engines, but in this case, there’s a good excuse: in only a few years, the powerful 6.7-liter Ford Power Stroke turbocharged diesel V8 has reached a production number of 500,000. And the reason that this motor has come off the assembly line half a million times since its recent debut is that there’s no engine like it on the market. Continue Reading

Ford Focus ST Goes Worldwide

No Comments 07 June 2011

Have you ever seen a car that you thought was only sold here in America and then you notice it on TV or some magazine that they have it over in Europe or Asia too? The funny thing about that is although that car may have the same name as it does here, in the past that has never actually meant it was the exact same car. Ford is moving to break this tradition. If it were still the Eighties, they’d have to change their slogan to the past tense, I loved what you did for me…. Now comes again the time of Ford. Continue Reading

Social Media helps Ford sell for the future

No Comments 23 December 2010

I remember oh so long ago when you actually had to instant message someone if you wanted to virtually talk to them. No, but seriously, I’m only 28 and even I still feel a little out of touch. Luckily Ford hires people smarter, or younger as the case may be, to take care of  that so I don’t have to worry about it. Continue Reading

Ford jumping on the social media advertising bandwagon to promote the new Focus

No Comments 02 November 2010

As is so much the trend these days, Ford is using social media outlets to promote its newest version of its vehicle line-up, the Ford Focus.  Sure Ford has seen huge sales increases across the country.  From LA to Frankfort, Ford truck vehicles have been flying off the lots.  However, right now it’s all about the Ford Focus and I must admit Ford has put its own creative spin on this particular social media promotion and the event sounds pretty cool.   Continue Reading

Previously, the Fiesta had been popular abroad, but was not available in the US. This year, however, the Fiesta is available and on the top of many people’s minds as a “hot” car. Continue Reading

The Ford Fiesta lets the good times roll in latest ad

Frankfort: Ford Fusion has a sibling – the Fiesta – that is getting all the attention.  We all know what this is like – an over accomplished, more out-going, funnier, friendlier, and more attractive version of ourselves.  A Frankfort Ford Fusion is to the Ford Fiesta what Jamie Lynn Spears is to Britney Spears (okay bad example but you get the picture). Clever product placement is nothing new. American Idol fans can no doubt recall that Ford has been a primary sponsor of the show since its inception in 2002. The show even includes a special Ford music video with each new episode in the final weeks.  With Idol currently in the offseason, Ford is once again turning to another popular genre, this time one with a little bit of bite. The genre? Vampires. Continue Reading
