Last month, the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show in Las Vegas not only allowed drivers and car enthusiasts to get a glimpse at the wide array of vehicles and technology available to them, but gave experts a chance to see the models side by side and award some coveted titles. The highest honor is coming home with a SEMA Hottest Vehicle award, which two different Ford models did this year. The 2017 Ford Focus earned the title of Hottest Hatch, and the 2017 Ford F-Series was named the Hottest Truck.
Both the Ford Focus and the Ford F-Series are repeat winners of Hottest Vehicle titles, and for good reason. This was the second year in a row the Ford Focus came home with the Hottest Hatch title, in only three years of the award. With performance trims like the Ford Focus ST and the Ford Focus RS, it’s no wonder the SEMA judges were impressed with its abilities and options. As for the Ford F-Series, it’s no surprise that America’s favorite truck has been honored with the Hottest Truck title multiple times – seven, in fact, out of eight years of the award. With Swiss army knife-like abilities and options, the Ford F-Series is particularly popular with drivers who want to customize their truck and take it on new adventures from drag racing to off-roading. SEMA President and CEO Chris Kersting praised the Ford company, and said “[Ford[ F-Series and [Ford[ Focus are just two of the most recent examples of the great vehicles Ford offers for personalization.”
Even if you’re not planning on turning your car into a drag racer or your truck into an off-roading champion, there’s a lot to love about the 2017 Ford Focus and the 2017 Ford F-Series. You can have one of the hottest vehicles on the market when you invest in the 2017 Ford Focus or a Ford truck. Louisville, Frankfort, and Lawrenceburg drivers can learn more about how to make either of these models into their perfect vehicle here at O’Brien Ford of Shelbyville.
